life in pixels

1. My life currently consists of: Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami, Gossip Girls (on le kindle), and more writing (spoken word, freewrites, etc etc.)

2. A few weeks ago I did a lot of meditation, sitting at the edge of lakes and gaining a lot of insight by questioning the things I was thinking about. With that came a lot of cigarettes, and since I'm not as stressed as I was, I've been smoking less. In fact, I haven't had a smoke in almost two weeks. Que?

3. Having classes with Ashley means spontaneous adventures! So far, we've discovered scenic spots, rode on the light rail, and got our nose pierced on pure impulse.

4. Took a trip to RVA with Kevin and Daniel, toured VCU, attended an Anthony Green Concert, went to a house party (my first ever), got drunk for the first time, and passed out on Dan. I think it's safe to say that it was the craziest weekend I have lived through yet.

5. Mandy cut most of my hair off in the middle of January, and it feels completely liberating. I felt as though the old self got cut off with my bleached ends. I've decided to go shorter this spring :3

I think I'll do these more often. Easier to keep track of what I've been doing than just forgetting.
